VIA Culture

VIA Culture is an Erasmus+ Key Action 2 international project with partners across Europe. It’s an amalgam of education researchers, foreign language teachers, cultural heritage specialists and drama facilitators. Four countries, five different educational institutions are cooperating, brainstorming, designing end exploring the possible educational impact of their countries’ Cultural Heritage assets in the field of foreign language teaching through process drama and new technologies. University of Bristol, University of Padova, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, International School of Belgrade, and Cathays High School of Cardiff constitute the partners of VIA Culture.

A Town of Many

The 'Town of Many' project, is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and it aims to record the religious urban landscapes of the Butetown and Cardiff Bay areas of Cardiff in order to provide second language acquisition educational resources, to promote social inclusion, and the UK values to refugees and newly arrived migrants. The project focuses on the past and present religious buildings and the communities which are associate with them and investigates how these shaped the diverse character of today’s Butetown. Cardiff Metropolitan University, University of Bristol and Cathays High School constitute the partners of this project.
